We try and handle emergencies quickly at Mount Parade Dental. We can appreciate that getting hold of a same day emergency dentist can be a stressful task in itself. Here at Mount Parade we will always do our best to see try and see patients with dental emergencies and dental pain as quickly as possible often within 24 hours.
Our aim is to alleviate your discomfort in the shortest possible time. If you suffer a dental emergency, please contact our reception team who will do their very best to help get you booked in on the same day.
We understand that accidents, injuries and dental emergencies can occur at any time and often at a time when it is least convenient. At times like this it’s helpful to have the confidence to know we will always do our best to get you seen at short notice and often the same day to help keep discomfort to a minimum.
If you are involved in an incident and you lose a tooth, try to find the tooth and store it in a glass of milk or hold it in between your cheek and gum (this is not advised for children as they may risk swallowing it); ring the practice as quickly as possible and one of our dentists may be able to save the tooth. If you suffer an accident and you experience pain in your jaw or you suspect that your jaw may be broken, visit the nearest Accident and Emergency department. If you have severe dental pain, arrange to see one of our dentists as quickly as possible; you may have an abscess, which requires urgent treatment.

Outside of normal surgery hours, for private patients and Denplan patients we participate in an on call service where advise and emergency care is available to patients of the practice. If you are a private patient please call 07790 780512 and for Denplan patients the number is 0800 401 402 the call out charge for this is £150.
For NHS patients please call 111 which is free from mobiles and land lines.
